Cowboys are my favorite subjects to photograph. Horses, cowboy hats and open horizons always seem to come together for interesting photos. During the wild horse race at the 87th Nebraska's Big Rodeo, teams of three try to saddle a wild horse, then ride it for a lap around the track. Luke Nelson survived, but did not win on July 24, in Burwell, Neb.
