One rule of photography: when a 78-year-old man offers you a beer, you take it. Tom Manning spent most of the day getting dusty in this quonset, but at sunset he stood with a cold beer and took in the setting sun. He's "retired," but still a fixture at the Manning Grain Company in Burress. Tom's father, Earl, started the company in 1924, and his son, Kent, carries on today.
