When a report of shots fired at a school sound on the police scanner, a number of photographers are dispatched. Usually we get called off before we get to the school. Unfortunately, the call was real on April 24. Lesley Leach kissed her daughter Kennedy Leach, 11, outside of King Science and Technology Magnet in Omaha. The school was locked-down after a bullet from a drive-by shooting a mile away hit a student playing soccer outside. Leach said she was relieved her daughter was safe.
